This set of four porcelain pasta bowls features a wide, shallow design ideal for serving pasta, salads, or grain bowls. Each bowl is made from hard-paste porcelain (kaolin and petunse) fired at 1320°C (2408°F). The body is pure white with a transparent glossy glaze. The dimensions: rim diameter 8.5 inches (21.6 cm), base diameter 4 inches (10.2 cm), height 2 inches (5.1 cm). The flat bottom provides stability and allows the bowl to sit level on any table surface. The wide rim (1.5 inches / 3.8 cm from edge to inner curve) is unpatterned and slightly curved upward, making it easy to grip. The capacity is 28 fluid ounces (828 ml) to the brim, but typical pasta serving of 16–20 oz (473–591 ml) fits without spillage. The bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe. They are also oven safe up to 350°F (177°C), but only for warming already cooked foods, not for cooking from raw. Thermal shock resistance is limited; do not transfer directly from freezer to oven. The porcelain is chip-resistant but not chip-proof; dropping onto a hard floor may cause breakage. The glaze is food-safe, lead-free, and cadmium-free. The bowls are stackable; the base fits neatly inside the rim of another bowl, saving cupboard space. The surface is non-porous and does not absorb odors or stains from tomato sauce, coffee, or curry. However, prolonged contact with strong pigments may leave a temporary film that washes off with baking soda paste. The set weighs 5.6 lbs (2.5 kg). These bowls are intended for daily use in home kitchens, not for commercial restaurant environments where frequent high-impact stacking may cause wear. Cleaning: dishwasher recommended; if hand washing, use non-abrasive sponges. The pure white color may show fine cutlery marks over time; these can be removed with a fine-grit ceramic cleaner paste. The product does not include lids. Packaging is a cardboard box with foam dividers. No assembly required. Avoid using steel wool or bleach-based cleaners. The bowls are produced by slip casting, so minor seam lines may be visible on the underside; these are not defects.
